My career has taken me to some unexpected places—including the backseat of a single-engine aircraft in extreme turbulence, filming a blind pilot for a documentary-style DVD series.

While fighting off motion sickness at 3,000 feet wasn’t part of the plan, it reinforced what I love about my work: the unpredictability, the creative challenges, and the stories behind every project.

Since going freelance in 2011, I’ve collaborated with agencies, production companies, and global brands, crafting motion design, animation, and short-form video content. I combine strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and technical expertise to bring ideas to life—whether leading projects, slotting into creative teams, refining narratives, or solving creative challenges on the fly.

I’m always exploring new creative technologies, from generative AI to VR storytelling, and I run DexAboutWalden, a satirical zine and website about my hometown.
